Job Description

Scopely is looking for a Senior 2D Animator to join our GSN Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day, connecting millions of people around the world through our innovative mobile games. The GSN Casino team focuses on developing engaging games such as slots, bingo, and cards, including a top-10 grossing app.

Your role will involve creating stunning and engaging 2D animations, which will include character animations, prop animations, and game transitions. You will collaborate with the team to ensure animations align with project vision, and use your knowledge of anatomy and movement to bring characters to life while staying updated on industry trends and techniques.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on animation experience.

• Excellent knowledge of Spine and Adobe Animate.

• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

• Knowledge of Unity (animations and particle effects) is a plus.

• Adept at both character and particle animations.

• Strong understanding of animation principles and fundamentals (timing, weight, and staging).

• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work within timescales and quality requirements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards improving qualifications.

• Fluent English with very good artistic skills.

• Experience in the gaming industry is an advantage; understanding/experience of 3D animation is a plus.
