HoYoverse is committed to providing immersive virtual world experiences to players around the world, renowned for popular games like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis, and Zenless Zone Zero. The company values community engagement and fosters a global community passionate about Animation, Comics, and Games (ACG). They explore cutting-edge game development technologies and aim to expand their content production, technology research, and publishing operations globally.

We are looking for a screenwriter to participate in the script-writing process for our global original content initiative. The role involves collaborating with producers, directors, and the lead screenwriter, pitching new ideas, conducting research, and meeting deadlines while working efficiently under pressure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a screenwriter
• Familiarity with HoYoverse’s IPs (Adventure Rank of 55 and above in Genshin Impact is strongly preferred)
• Well organized and detail-oriented
• Deep knowledge of the global entertainment landscape and audience preferences
• Business proficiency in English is highly preferred
• Exceptional ability in short-form writing and editing
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Independent, self-motivated, and curious
• Comfortable with kind but candid feedback
• Fixed term or contractor status is optional
• Adventure Rank 55 and above in Genshin Impact is preferred
