Job Description

WRK digital are partnered with a thriving company that has gained a leading reputation within the music industry. They are seeking a Front End Developer to join their expanding team, providing a great opportunity to become a part of a tight-knit development team and make a significant impact at the company.

As a Front End Developer, you will be enhancing the existing platform, ensuring it remains user-friendly while pushing innovation. Your responsibilities will include coding in Next.js and TypeScript to help bring creative and inspiring new features to life. You will work directly with the Managing Director and other Front End Developers while collaborating with various individuals across the wider team. This is a hybrid role based in their Central Leeds office, with discussions open for flexibility.

Requirements

You will have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Front End Developer with a strong focus on modern React development.
• Strong experience in JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript, ideally with Next.js.
• The ability to make informed decisions and communicate with multiple teams.
• An appreciation for attention to detail and high standards of UX and UI.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• A good understanding of web performance optimisation techniques.
• A passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
