Job Description

Fidelity TalentSource is currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer to work in Fidelity’s Workplace Investing group in Westlake, TX. The role involves hiring a Principal Software Engineer for Modernization & Technology Lifecycle Management at Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH or Westlake TX. The team focuses on building prototypes and assisting in the broad implementation of various modernization and TLM initiatives, operating in a dynamic agile environment. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building/upgrading, and testing applications across multiple platforms. You will be expected to quickly understand the components of our platform and Blueprints to lead modernization and security-related initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Java application development using SpringBoot.
• 2+ years of experience using AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, CFT.
• 5+ years of experience in database design and development using Oracle/NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, AeroSpike).
• Strong knowledge in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment.
• Deep understanding of API design, versioning, and API documentation (Swagger).
• Solid understanding of developing highly scalable distributed systems utilizing open-source technologies.
• Solid understanding of E2E ALM tools such as JIRA, gitStash, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy.
• Comfortable with Code Quality/Coverage tools (Sonar or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, and scaling is desirable.
• 2+ years of UI development experience using Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5 is a nice to have.

You will contribute to the tactical and strategic technology direction of the HealthCare business and be responsible for proposing and delivering strategic efficiency and scalability solutions.
