Job Description

As a Front End Engineer, you will play a critical role in our development team, driving the creation and improvement of our web applications. Your expertise in front-end technologies will contribute to the development of responsive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver seamless and robust web experiences. This role demands a mix of technical excellence, a deep understanding of web development best practices, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of sophisticated front-end web applications using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure our web applications perform well on mobile and desktop.
  • Work with backend engineers to design and consume APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between the front-end and back-end.
  • Proactively identify and address front-end performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and sharing knowledge across the team to improve overall technical expertise.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in front-end development.
