Job Description

Role: Appian Developer

The Appian Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing Appian and web-based applications. This role involves providing technical guidance to mid-level developers, working with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs, and building critical Appian-based applications along with associated integration components in Java. The developer will also debug issues in interfaces and process models.

Requirements

• Experience in Object Oriented programming languages primarily Java.

• 8 Years of experience in Design and Development using Appian BPM version 17 and above.

• Experience in working with at least one external integration (e.g., Web service, ESB).

• Experience in distributed environments.

• Mastery level technical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

• Experience in working with JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of the differences between REST, SOAP, and the basic design principles in integrating web services.

• Experience in the Banking/Financial industry is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements.

This position requires the developer to work closely with business users and collaborate in mapping and loading data from source systems to a data warehouse.
