Job Description

The Seed Warehouse, Hertford, UK is seeking a Senior UI Designer to join our cross-functional Experience Team at Zoocha. The role involves creating flexible design systems for clients’ digital landscapes. This is a hybrid working role, requiring at least two days a week at the Hertford office and some travel to clients is expected. We are looking for a team player who collaborates with Experience and Development teams to design various audience-centered experiences, including websites and mobile apps, while independently managing projects from concept to delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• 3 - 4 years’ agency experience designing digital products
• Exceptional UI design skills, with an understanding of UX principles
• A strong design process and ability to create high-level concepts for client presentations
• Comfort with engaging senior client stakeholders, leading workshops and co-design sessions
• Excellent problem-solving, creative, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in creating and evolving design systems for flexible and scalable digital solutions
• Proficiency in Figma, design systems, and prototyping
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (developers, marketers, product managers)
• Comfort presenting ideas and concepts to clients and peers
• A strong portfolio of design projects

Nice-to-have experience includes:

• Motion design and interaction skills
• Mobile app experience (Native apps / Flutter)
• User research and usability testing experience
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Mandatory requirements are:

• Based in the UK, ideally within commuting distance of the Hertford office
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Valid visa or work permit
