Job Description

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative, user-centric experiences for XR (AR, VR, MR) products within the Company’s Windows ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine immersive experiences that are both functional and visually compelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver on the product vision for XR experiences.
• Designing intuitive and immersive user interfaces and interactions tailored for AR, VR, and MR environments.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Working closely with developers to ensure the design vision is executed faithfully and efficiently.
• Contributing to the development of design systems and best practices that support scalability and consistency across XR products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on XR (AR, VR, MR) or related fields.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing immersive experiences for XR platforms.
• Experience using prototyping tools for XR, such as ShapesXR, Bezi, or similar, to rapidly visualize and iterate on spatial experiences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Unity experience is a plus.

Job Highlights

Location: Remote in the United States

Pay Rate Range: $55 - $60/hour W2, based on experience

Duration: 9+ months contract
