Job Description

The City of North Las Vegas is seeking to fill the position of Graphic Designer. The successful candidate will create artwork that aligns with the City’s graphic standards while collaborating with stakeholders to develop various visual applications, including logos, advertising, web graphics, and other multimedia materials. Responsibilities include planning and developing written and visual content using conventional and computer-aided graphic development techniques, as well as proofing and checking various written materials in both digital and traditional formats.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of professional work experience in conventional and computerized graphic design, desktop publishing, and related graphic presentation work. Public Sector experience is preferred.
• Equivalency: Any equivalent combination of education, related training, and work experience may be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Nevada state driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

• Pay considerations - The salary range for this position is $62,947.79 – $100,282.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
