Job Description

We are a Global IT Recruitment specialist providing support to clients across the UK and Europe. We have an excellent job opportunity for the position of Sr. Experience Designer located in Edinburgh, offering a hybrid work model. This is an 8-9 months contract with a budget of £75k - £80k per annum plus paid holidays and pension or £400 - £420 per day inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Drive: Transform ambiguity into clear, detailed designs.
• Curiosity: Craft delightful experiences for admins, teams, and enterprises by bringing a new perspective to the business landscape.
• Systems Thinking: Unify patterns across multiple touchpoints and systems to create cohesive end-to-end experiences.
• Simplify: Translate complex problems into simple, practical design solutions grounded in user research and data.
• Collaborate: Work with multiple project partners including product managers, engineers, marketing managers, and other designers.
• Visualize: Articulate needs and proposed solutions through sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations.

Requirements

• Experience using design thinking and service design tools to address complex business problems.
• Proficient in solving sophisticated design and technology challenges using systems thinking.
• Proven track record of delivering designs that meet user needs and business requirements.
• Strong creative and analytical skills for research, synthesis, and communicating insights.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate designs and strategy persuasively to all functions and levels, including executives.
• Strong operational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and foster collaboration across design, product development, engineering, and business.
• Strong visual design skills and a keen eye for detail, aiming for pixel-perfect precision in the final product.
