Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms, built with love by chefs, nutritionists, and software engineers. Launched in Bahrain in 2019, Calo has expanded to 5 countries in the region, delivered millions of meals to customers, and launched its own Grab & Go Cafe concepts. The company has a mission to make healthy eating easy and aims to tackle significant global health challenges.

We are seeking a star Content Creator to join our Marketing team to produce trendy content that resonates with the market. The role involves creating engaging content that aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives across various platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for social media and marketing materials.
• Planning and directing different video and photo shoots.
• Setting up a content calendar.
• Creating and filming content independently for various social media channels.
• Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
• Managing social media accounts to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and promote company initiatives.
• Implementing and monitoring social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, followers, and other metrics.
• Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
• Conducting research on current trends, seasonality, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and contextualizing findings.
• Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and reach customers.
• Participating in offline events and acting as a brand ambassador.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Filmmaking, or a related field.
• Experience in creating viral, high-quality content relevant to the Saudi market.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic.

Knowledge & Competency

• Skilled in shooting and editing videos.
• Knowledge in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, or other video editing software.
• Knowledge in creating content per brand guidelines.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and market research techniques.
• Demonstrated excellence in copywriting, proofreading, and editing.
• Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, time management, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
• Interest in the healthy food lifestyle scene.
