Job Description
This automotive company is seeking an experienced and talented UX designer to create experiences that solve both business and customer problems. You will collaborate with the UX team, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs, and explore solutions at both the conceptual and detailed design level. Responsibilities include forming a cohesive experience across touchpoints, creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, mapping user flows, leveraging research to make evidence-based decisions, conducting experience audits, and partnering with development teams. You will also be responsible for presenting work at design reviews and advocating for the customer.
Requirements
Qualifications for the role include expertise in UX design, mobile and web design proficiency, and familiarity with tools like Figma and Mural. Additional desired skills include an MBA or graduate degree, proficiency in design disciplines such as UI/visual design and content design, and experience in the automotive or energy industries. The ability to plan and conduct UX research, expertise in design strategy, and experience using frameworks like Jobs-to-be-Done to uncover deeper user needs and opportunities are also important.
