Job Description

Job Title: Service Designer/Product Designer/UX Designer

Job Location: New York, NY (Remote)

Duration: 3+ Months

Pay Rate: up to $80/hr on W2

The client is growing and scaling integrations to cover the top critical apps for the industry. To achieve this, the role involves growing partnerships with ISVs (Independent Service Vendors) to help build integrations. ISVs are software producers, such as Atlassian, Slack, and VMware, who aim to integrate the client’s SSO and other integration types into their software products. The position also focuses on creating a program to support and incentivize ISV partnerships, improving the flow for submitting integrations, and enhancing marketing content on the client’s website.

Responsibilities

- Develop an end-to-end ISV service journey map, collaborating with a cross-functional team of stakeholders and incorporating best practices from other programs.

- Propose improvements for the journey in the short, medium, and long term, while managing and supporting the execution of these projects.

- Recommend enhancements for developer documentation and other artifacts that support the ISV ecosystem, such as marketing pages and program guides.

- Facilitate and guide research activities to test artifacts with ISVs.

- Design and facilitate co-creation workshops to align stakeholders of varying seniority on the best services and artifacts for customers.

- Represent work through compelling stories that inspire solutions to complex problems using insights.

Requirements

- Experience leading cross-discipline teams with strong leadership skills.

- Proficient in tools for mapping out user journeys and end-to-end experiences.

- Proven track record in building relationships with stakeholders and customers.

- Passionate about solving complex problems and sharing product and design UX principles.

- Comfortable and enthusiastic about presenting to and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders and leadership.

- History of effective communication with all levels of management and company personnel.

- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and independently.

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, especially under constraints.

Nice to Haves

- Experience facilitating cross-discipline research for clarity and decision-making.

- Previous experience working with ISVs or within a SaaS company.
