Job Description

The client is a forward-thinking technology company specializing in software solutions. They are committed to fostering innovation and providing high-quality services to their clients. They are looking for a talented Mid-Level .NET Developer to join their dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services using the .NET framework. You will work closely with the development team to implement robust, scalable solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in .NET development with a strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirables

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and services using .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.

• Assist in the design and implementation of system architecture and technical specifications.

Additional Information

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £40K-£45K

Working Model: Hybrid working (3 days in office), flexible working hours, 2 days holiday + bank holidays, range of company benefits.
