Job Description

Have you graduated from a Russell Group with a Computer Science and have 2+ years experience developing using .Net and C#? Do you enjoy the flexibility of working from home 5 days a week? As a Junior Software Engineer in Sports Data, you’ll join our longstanding partner, the official partner for all things data and technology. You will play a key role in powering the worldwide ecosystem that connects sports, finance, betting, and the media. Your contributions will support their mission to create a more sustainable sports data ecosystem, benefiting everyone from rights holders to fans.

In this position, you will gain experience in:

  • C#, .Net, AWS
  • TDD (Test Driven Development)
  • Multithreading and synchronous programming
  • Building highly-scalable, high throughput, low latency systems
  • Understanding of system design
  • Working in a fast-paced, pioneering modelling environment
  • Exposure to quantitative, financial, and risk modelling

This role offers the opportunity to work in an extremely high-performance environment, processing and providing data that generates live odds in real-time. You will be part of a team comprised of top developers, allowing for continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a Russell Group university
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, specifically with .Net and C#
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Passion for software development and eagerness to learn in a challenging environment

Additional Information

This is a fully remote position based in the UK with a salary of up to £55,000. The company is a prestigious partner with over 500 sports organisations worldwide, including the NFL, NBA, and Premier League.
