Job Description

Our team is building the next generation Sports Betting platform that optimizes flexibility, performance, responsiveness, and resiliency. We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to work directly with the business within an agile team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused software that exceeds customer expectations. You will be active in all phases of the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into working software.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze, debug, and resolve defects.
• Demonstrate a commitment to monitoring and observability.
• Manage technical debt effectively.
• Communicate clearly and translate technical and non-technical requirements.
• Understand timelines and dependencies, coordinating with other teams.
• Take responsibility for product delivery.
• Actively participate in relevant communities of practice.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with:

• A positive, collaborative attitude.
• Agile/DevOps experience, and understanding of the full SDLC.
• Knowledge of contract-first development, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
• Essential foundation in Java and the Java ecosystem.
• Familiarity with SpringBoot, Kafka, Postgres, Cassandra, Docker, GitLab, and GitLab CI is desirable.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and cloud platforms (e.g., New Relic, Splunk, AWS Lambdas, Kubernetes, ISTIO, Terraform, OpenAPI) is beneficial but not required.
• Open-mindedness and curiosity about new technologies are highly valued.
