Project Role Description: Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Provide DB2 OS 390 DBA support for corporate database application systems and projects.
• Work with team members to perform product upgrades, application upgrade design, development of applications, databases, and ongoing production support of DB2 application database systems.
• Independent worker with minimal direction required.
• In-depth knowledge of DB2 is required to develop and maintain various application databases.
• Experience working with BMC or equivalent DB2 administration tools is required.
• Application business analysis to develop database designs and logical/physical models.
• Close working relationships with application teams and users in the design, development, tuning, and problem resolution of database services.
• Provide training and assistance to application support teams in the usage of the database system and related software products.
• Strong communications and technical experience required.
