Job Description

We are looking for a freelance motion graphics designer who knows how to breathe life into business subjects with detailed, often complex content. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within a marketing team and driven by deadlines to create dynamic, visually interesting content. This is not a position for those seeking to create character-driven feature films, as we primarily tell stories with marketing information as the backbone. The successful candidate will have expert skills in After Effects CC, with additional skills in Premiere and Cinema 4D desired. Experience in HTML5 animation using Hype is a big plus. This is a remote-only position, requiring candidates to have their own hardware.

Responsibilities

• Storyboard concepting with our writers and working with our in-house designers to develop the look and feel of videos.
• Working closely with the creative director to meet the marketing goals of each project.
• Creating all animation, from start to finish.
• Managing additional freelance resources.
• Acting as animation director when additional resources are needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in After Effects CC, with desired skills in Premiere and Cinema 4D.
• Experience in character animation.
• Additional skills in HTML5 animation using Hype are a plus.
• Ability to manage projects and exceed client expectations.
• Strong storytelling ability demonstrated in a portfolio reel.
