Job Description

The Developer Link have partnered with an XR company in Newcastle looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join their team. The role involves working on a multi-tenant, multi-service containerised SaaS platform, focusing on backend infrastructure challenges. Additionally, the candidate will provide mentorship and guidance to the rest of the team, with potential growth into a Team Lead role.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Senior level experience with some mentorship capability
• 5+ years of experience in .NET
• Full stack experience with a backend focus
• Proficient in .NET Core
• Good experience with CI/CD, ideally using Azure DevOps
• Architecture experience
• Strong understanding of design principles and microservices
• Bonus points for experience in gaming, Unity, or XR backgrounds

Other Information

The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days of onsite work per week in Newcastle. The team consists of 2 backend developers and 1 frontend developer. The position is permanent with a salary of up to £80k, depending on experience. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
