Job Description

Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. (SSU) is currently recruiting for a Website Developer. You will be responsible for making updates and changes to our website, ensuring it remains dynamic, user-friendly, and visually appealing. You will collaborate with team members to enhance the overall user experience and functionality of our site.

Location: Fayetteville, NC (on-site)

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient code using best practices for web development.
• Create and maintain website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to the website as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance and functionality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to implement improvements.

Required Skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field -OR- 5 years of proven experience.
• Demonstrated experience in web development or a related field, accompanied by a portfolio that highlights previous projects and showcases your skills and creativity.
• Proficient in WordPress 6.2 and Beaver Builder.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby) and database management (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
