Job Description

About Us: Our mission is to dominate the betting and gaming industry on a global scale and we need the very best Tech talent to help us achieve this. We recently migrated all of our customers onto our very own proprietary platform, creating an exciting opportunity to pioneer new products and drive advanced technologies. As a member of Betfred’s Technology department, you will play a crucial role in unlocking our new platform’s potential.

Job Purpose: As the Lead UX Designer, you will report to the Head of UX and Design and lead UX work on high-profile feature developments across all Betfred digital touchpoints, including web, mobile, and retail platforms. You will actively shape effective product design processes and identify new product development opportunities.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience) - essential
  • 10+ years’ experience including time within a significant creative agency or corporate UX team - essential
  • Experience in a lead or senior role with a strong portfolio demonstrating measurable impact on business performance
  • Highly skilled in all aspects of UX process and software applications (Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Extensive experience of conducting user research using common UX research tools and methods (Quantum Metrics, UserZoom, Userberry, Lean UX research methods)
