A Senior .NET Developer with expertise in Azure application development is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Azure-based solutions. Key responsibilities include architectural design, development using .NET technologies, working with Azure services, implementing DevOps practices, ensuring security, and setting up monitoring and logging solutions.

Requirements

1. Development: Proficiency in writing high-quality, maintainable code using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 6) for Azure-based web applications, APIs, and services.

2. Azure Services: Deep understanding of Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Logic Apps) and ability to choose and configure these services based on project requirements.

3. DevOps and CI/CD: Experience in implementing DevOps practices and setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

4. Security: Knowledge of Azure Active Directory for authentication, managing secrets and keys securely, and adhering to best practices for Azure security, including role-based access control (RBAC) and security policies.

5. Monitoring and Logging: Capability to set up monitoring and logging solutions with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Log Analytics.

6. Scalability and Performance: Skills in designing for scalability and optimizing application performance leveraging Azure’s capabilities (auto-scaling, Azure CDN).

7. Data Management: Experience working with Azure data services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory) for efficient data management and processing.

8. Integration: Ability to integrate Azure applications with other systems and services using APIs, messaging services, and event-driven architectures.

9. Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensuring code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, as well as implementing testing strategies and frameworks.

10. Documentation: Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, code documentation, and deployment guides.

11. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, developers) to meet business requirements.

12. Troubleshooting and Support: Experience in investigating and resolving technical issues, providing support, and participating in incident management.

13. Cost Management: Skills in managing Azure resources efficiently for cost-effectiveness.
