Job Description

Position: Seasonal Videographer/Camera Operator

Duration: February - June 2025

Location: Nationwide travel across the U.S.

The company specializes in distributing and streaming dance media and is widely recognized for its cutting-edge products such as “Video Judge.”

Role Overview: DanceBUG is seeking passionate and skilled Videographers/Camera Operators to join a dynamic team. This role involves traveling nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site
• Conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure quality
• Record and log performances as well as manage the live broadcast
• Upload and/or ship data as required
• Communicate with assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts weekly
• Travel to events nationwide

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Videographer/Camera Operator
• Expertise in camera settings and audio management
• Proficiency with Windows and basic editing software (DaVinci, Premiere a plus)
• Ability to manage data and work “production” hours
• Valid America Driver’s License
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work
• Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check
