Are you a super-knowledgeable Social Media and Content Manager? Someone who gets excited about social trends, with a passion for positive impact advertising and campaigns. With at least two years’ agency experience and evidence of working on complex campaigns, from day one you will work with a team to deliver a mix of marketing, recruitment and communications projects.
The Social Media and Content Manager will lead the development and execution of our clients’ social media and content strategies. This includes managing social media channels, creating engaging content, monitoring analytics and reporting on performance, adapting our approach to ensure we get the right result. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, content optimisation, exceptional copywriting skills, and good awareness of SEO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all client social media accounts and in-house requirements.
- Strategise, plan, and implement social media calendars across multiple platforms creating engaging, creative, and innovative content for regular posts, which enlighten audiences and promote campaign-focused messages.
- Make recommendations on the most suitable social platforms and activity to support clients’ campaigns and meet their objectives.
- Craft and edit copy for various digital platforms, ensuring a consistent voice and tone.
- Analyse metrics and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of content, and optimise strategies to maximise objective results.
- Develop and expand online, community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends, explore new ways to engage, and identify new social networks to reach the campaign target audience.
- Collaborate with our creative team to produce high-quality visual and written content.
- Develop, write, and publish compelling blog posts and articles that align with brand voice and marketing strategy, and drive traffic and engagement.
- Oversee and engage with the online community across all platforms.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience agency-side, with proven experience in content creation and management.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, able to lead on budget discussions with clients, ensuring account profitability while delivering value to clients.
- Ability to build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients and partners.
- In-depth understanding of SBW’s expertise and services to spot opportunities within existing accounts and make relevant recommendations.
- Genuinely interested in positive impact marketing and advertising with a willingness to learn and share helpful knowledge.
- Good awareness of SEO and strong understanding of web traffic metrics.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media monitoring tools.
