Job Description

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Graphical User Interface Designer with a Public Trust clearance to support KDS and our government customer. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote but may require occasional visits to the client site in Washington, DC. The position is intended for future new business opportunities and is aimed at supporting a public health agency client Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The individual must display energetic commitment to operational excellence and will support both large and small teams in reaching client goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience supporting federal programs and large/small teams.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Exceptional design skills, production value, and attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and associated design tools.
• Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies.
• Preferred knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries, responsive design, web standards, and backward browser compatibility.
• Experience with the ServiceNow platform and systems integration is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Professional Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment with a client-centric culture.
• Able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
• Effective in working with numerous stakeholder types and bring groups to consensus.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment with low to moderate noise levels. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and must have specific vision abilities required by the job including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
