Job Description

Position: Seasonal Videographer/Camera Operator

Duration: February - June 2025

Location: Nationwide travel across the U.S.

Celebrated as the industry standard in Dance Videography and Photography for nearly 25 years, DanceBUG offers innovative products like “Video Judge” and a comprehensive suite of software for Registration, Scheduling, Tabulation, and Streaming.

Role Overview: DanceBUG seeks passionate and skilled Videographers/Camera Operators to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site

• Conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure quality

• Record and log performances as well as manage the live broadcast

• Upload and/or ship data as required

• Communicate with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts weekly

• Travel to events nationwide

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Videographer/Camera Operator

• Expertise in camera settings and audio management

• Proficiency with Windows and basic editing software (DaVinci, Premiere a plus)

• Ability to manage data and work “production” hours

• Valid America Driver’s License

• Able to lift 50 lbs

• Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work

• Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check

• Compensation: $300-$400 per shooting day + all expenses
