Job Description

The role involves handling a wide range of tasks of varying complexity under limited supervision, including monitoring online and stand-alone systems, communication links, large-scale computers, and their associated peripheral devices. The individual will operate efficiently and maintain laser printer systems, command system consoles to satisfy processing requirements, and coordinate testing and implementation of newly developed cycles and processes. Responsibilities include processing daily test and production jobs and managing nightly job schedules to ensure cycle completion, along with handling Help Desk calls and preparing procedure documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum two years of previous related experience in a high-volume Operations servicing environment.

• Two years of experience with Company processing systems, displaying knowledge to perform tasks and assignments across all three shifts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop written communications relating to the department’s “Standard Operating Procedures.”

• Thorough knowledge of and experience with high-speed, high-volume printer environments is required.

• Proven ability to work well in a high visibility, publicly oriented environment with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to train others in department functions and tasks.

• Consistency in meeting established schedules and deadlines.

• Ability to interact with customers of all levels in a professional manner.

• May be required to work any shift as determined necessary by the department.

• Overtime and backup coverage may be required on short notice.
