Job Description

This is a contractor role for 6 months at Horizontal Digital, where we believe that you’re only as good as your worst customer experience. We strive to exceed expectations by creating websites, apps, portals, and other experiences for Fortune 500 companies. Our approach combines strategy, data, design, and technology to deliver highly effective solutions.

We are looking for a highly skilled UI Designer to support our growing client needs by discovering, researching, designing, and defining UI solutions for our customers. Responsibilities include executing designs, delivering striking conceptual directions, collaborating with internal partners, building client relationships, adapting to evolving requirements, learning about client needs, and presenting work to clients.

What you bring:

  • Great portfolio of UI design showcasing your ability to enhance brands.
  • 4+ years’ experience in responsive interface design.
  • Extensive experience with established design systems and building new ones.
  • Experience leading UI design across multiple platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Experience conducting working sessions and client presentations.
  • Experience designing complex web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of UI best practices, accessibility design issues, and UX best practices.
  • Passion for UI design and a desire for its growth across business.

Extra Credit

  • Experience with content management systems (Sitecore, Acquia).
  • Familiarity with Agile processes.
  • Experience in mobile app design and motion design.
