We are a leading Engineering company looking for an outstanding Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our team in Normal, IL, US (on-site). In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving existing machine learning models and systems, contributing to the backend development necessary to support machine learning infrastructure. This specialized profile involves the design, development, and research of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to automate predictive models.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Python, C#, and other relevant programming languages.
• Deep understanding of computer vision, TensorFlow, and aspects of machine learning such as annotation, training, augmentation, and YOLO.
• Experience with platforms like Kubernetes (K8) or AWS; knowledge in backend development.
• Impeccable analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive math and computer skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning frameworks, like Keras or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Desire to learn and innovate.
• Proven experience as a machine learning engineer or a similar role.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, and R.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• General knowledge of building machine learning systems.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
