Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about visual design and have a strong understanding of user experience. As a Freelance Designer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to create engaging designs that enhance our brand and improve user interaction across multiple platforms.

Your duties will include developing visually appealing designs for digital platforms, creating motion graphics and animations, conducting user research, collaborating with developers, utilizing UXPin for prototyping, designing graphics for marketing campaigns, optimizing designs for SEO, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. You must be proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and motion graphics software, and familiar with front-end development technologies, particularly React Express. Additionally, you should have knowledge of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies, experience conducting user research, and an understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to design. Previous experience with email marketing platforms like MailChimp is a plus.

Experience in web design, CSS, and HTML5 is required, with at least 1 year in each area. You must also be able to commute to New York, NY 10013 and be willing to relocate there before starting work.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday
