Job Description

This role entails coordinating and participating in the programming, implementation, testing, and support of web-based projects using the LAMP solution stack. The candidate will be responsible for programming, developing, and producing data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps utilizing machine learning and the latest technology solutions. Additionally, the role involves consulting with clients and the account team to ensure the effective use of internet-based technologies for enterprise business applications, as well as debugging and problem-solving across a variety of open-source and mobile platforms.

Requirements

Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline preferred.

General Knowledge: Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting; solid understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices.

Experience:

  • Strong English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in PHP.
  • Project-level experience with PHP/WordPress CMS utilizing Advanced Custom Fields (no page builders).
  • Project-level experience with at least one open-source CMS platform (Magento, Shopify, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).
  • Experience with web-based programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Proficiency in a LAMP environment.
  • Knowledge of OOP and procedural programming methodologies.
  • Familiarity with standard compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Git Version control or other version control software.
  • Knowledge of package management and task runners (e.g., NPM, Yarn, Gulp, Grunt).
  • Browser testing abilities using built-in developer tools.
  • Experience with e-commerce solutions and methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a development firm/agency environment.
