Job Description

First Rate, the UK’s largest supplier of foreign currency and a leading currency wholesaler globally, is seeking a Designer to create compelling, on-brand creative that reinforces its positioning as a leader in foreign exchange. The Designer will work on B2B and B2C marketing covering all customer touch points including retail, web, mobile, and app.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the creative needs of projects to engage the desired audience and support outcomes.
• Contribute to the ideation of campaigns as an expert in design.
• Conceptual design: Develop innovative, impactful visual concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Manage workflow of creative briefs and adapt to operational processes.
• Generate high-quality marketing collateral across multiple mediums (web, social media, print, etc.).
• Liaise with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and partners for creative material production and delivery.
• Source photography and materials in line with brand guidelines.
• Edit video and photographic content.
• Ensure brand consistency and maintain a Brand Portal with the latest design assets.
• Stay current with design trends and technology and enhance skills continuously.
• Collaborate with team members to create a thriving work environment.

Requirements

• Experience in design, showcasing a proactive and passionate approach.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and experience using Figma.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various creative work (digital, social media, and traditional formats).
• Understanding of dark mode, accessibility requirements, and mobile-first design.
• Experience in digital channels and social media platforms, with skills in optimizing creative work.
• Video editing and post-production experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and graphic design.
