Job Description
A social media/PR agency is seeking an individual with experience in the social media world who is eager to continue learning. This role involves working closely with the agency director to create and implement marketing strategies for six different brands. Initially, this position will be hybrid, transitioning to fully remote in the future.
Responsibilities
- Stay on top of social media optimization (SEO, image standards, best practices for growth and engagement).
- Photography/videography experience is a plus.
- Required: video editing experience (Final Cut Pro, Capcut, or Adobe).
- Monitor and respond to posts and comments on blogs, forums, and social networks.
- Create content and copywriting.
- Post and interact with local or relevant organizations and interest groups.
- Research compelling articles, stories, resources, or material for followers; identify brand storytelling opportunities.
- Collect, record, and analyze social media insights from platform analytics and Google analytics.
- Stay informed about current events, trends, and content efforts of other brands.
- Maintain a content calendar and schedule content across all social platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).
- Develop strategies and campaigns to enhance social media presence and brand identity, gain followers, and increase engagement.
- Assist with the development and execution of the Brand Ambassador program.
- Attend content days/photoshoots.
Requirements
- Strong organization and memory skills.
- Ability to familiarize oneself with different companies.
- Capable of taking calls and scheduling meetings.
- Possess a strategic mindset around community engagement and a passion for supporting a unique, empowering community.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to gain insights and propose improvements based on relevant data.
- Strong desire to learn and a professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Drive.
- Available to work occasional nights and/or weekends as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract.
Pay: $1,350.00 - $1,500.00 per month.
Schedule: Choose your own hours, Monday to Friday.
Education: Associate degree (Preferred).
Experience: Marketing: 1 year (Preferred); Social media management: 2 years (Preferred).
Work Location: In person.
