Requirements

Personality: You are a team player, like to help people, and prioritize providing the best experience. You enjoy watching content on YouTube and subscribe to channels focused on data-driven reviews.

Qualification/Experience:

• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Mac OS and Windows, able to troubleshoot equipment.
• 2+ years experience working with production equipment (sound and cameras).
• 2+ years experience as a video editor.
• Proficiency with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve is an asset.
• Experience working with YouTube channels is an asset (own channel or management experience).
• DEP/DEC or BACC in Cinema or Television is an asset.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Edit videos to ensure content is high quality and error-free.
• 20% - Video production including lighting, filming A and B-roll, and audio.
• 10% - Participate in the script and video approbation processes.
• 10% - Data wrangling and collect appropriate assets from the website.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $48,000—$58,000 CAD
