Job Description

Fuse Energy is seeking a talented and creative Illustrator to join our innovative team. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to blend your product design expertise with your illustrative skills to help us build a 10X consumer product that revolutionises the renewable energy space for everyday consumers. You will work closely with operations managers, frontend and backend engineers and be instrumental in creating seamless, visually compelling designs across platforms including mobile applications (iOS and Android), websites, and responsive web applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing engaging content for our social accounts, websites, and product-related materials, playing a key role in enhancing our brand’s presence and driving consumer engagement in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality illustrations, graphics, and visual designs for social media, websites, and product-related materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to produce compelling visuals that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Incorporate data and user feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring visuals meet consumer needs and enhance product usability.
• Work with both 2D and 3D motion graphics, contributing to dynamic visual content for digital platforms.
• Apply a strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and alternative media to create visually engaging content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and working to bring fresh ideas to life.
• Ensure consistency of visual assets across all platforms and products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in illustration, preferably in a consumer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to design within a data-driven environment, leveraging insights to improve visual impact and user engagement.
• Strong visual sensibility, with expertise in graphic design, typography, and alternative media formats.
• Proficiency in motion graphics (both 2D and 3D), with the ability to create animated and interactive visual content.
• Bachelor’s degree in a highly analytical discipline (e.g., Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
• Experience in product design is a plus, with the ability to understand product requirements and collaborate on design solutions.
