Job Description

This recruitment manages social media platforms for The Clerk’s Office. Some weekday, after hour, and weekend work may be required. The purpose of this classification is to create and produce art, graphics, and publications for an assigned department.

Essential Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Designs a variety of marketing and promotional materials and publications.
• Creates charts and graphs for reports and publications.
• Produces audio/visual materials, including photographs and videos.
• Maintains inventories of supplies and equipment.
• Processes documentation associated with department/division operations.
• Operates various equipment and supplies to complete work assignments.
• Communicates with County officials and other individuals as needed.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or a related field; supplemented by one year of experience in graphic arts, design, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Must demonstrate proficiency in essential functions and apply all county or departmental policies, practices, and procedures effectively.

Examination

The examination will consist of an evaluation of education and experience, documented in the application. If selected, an official, accredited college transcript is required for all degrees/coursework used to qualify for this position.
