Job Description

Experienced creative graphic designer wanted to lead the conceptualisation and execution of online advertising and content (graphics + video) at Dowsing & Reynolds. This role includes overseeing the creation of engaging, immersive, on-brand and channel-appropriate assets for our audiences, while collaborating with in-house colleagues and external freelancers and agencies. The position is part-time, requiring three days per week on-site in Leeds (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays).

Dowsing & Reynolds is a premium home décor brand and ecommerce retailer with 11 years of experience. Based in Hunslet, Leeds, our team of 30 works in an office, warehouse, and photography studio environment. We have established a cult brand status among interior designers while still being a challenger brand focused on understanding our customers, producing exceptional products, and advertising them with impactful content.

Requirements

Must haves:

• A strong eye for aesthetics and visual details.
• Hands-on experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Express.
• Deep knowledge and experience to challenge and, where appropriate, work beyond the brief to produce a design with greater functionality.
• Understanding of general marketing theory, particularly the difference between Brand Building and Sales Activation activity.
• Familiarity with customer journeys and how they impact design and messaging.
• Natural curiosity, engaging with a variety of media and interests, including interiors, graphic design, and fashion.
