Job Description

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for UX Designers to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our customer-facing websites. Your role will involve crafting solutions that enhance user journeys for optimal effectiveness, efficiency, and enjoyment, all while staying aligned with our core business objectives. Working with the UX team, you will develop the UX strategy, identify and address potential pain points, and ensure every aspect of the product user experience is guided by a user-centric approach. This position combines elements of both remote and office work, with a schedule of 2 days per week at our Bradford office and 3 days of remote work from home. You have the flexibility to choose your working hours, starting anytime between 8 – 10am and working for 7.5 hours each day.

Role Responsibilities

• Investigate user problems and define usable solutions.

• Create meaningful UX deliverables such as storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interaction models, and presentations.

• Deliver UX solutions that measurably improve core workflows.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research for deeper user understanding.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, strategists, analysts, developers, and designers throughout project lifecycles.

• Design and deliver user experience solutions for FGH products.

• Solve user interaction design problems using analytical and research methods.

• Support creation and maintenance of FGH Design Language and Design System.

• Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues to adhere to departmental standards.

• Maintain awareness of trends in e-commerce and user experience tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of related experience (UX designer or similar).

• A degree in design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or related field.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Expertise in reviewing existing systems to identify and provide UX recommendations.

• Proven empathy towards users and understanding their needs.

• Familiarity with UX trends and methodologies.

• Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma and Photoshop.

• Experience in user research design and analysis.

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and competitor analysis.

• Understanding of FCA Reg requirements and exceptional customer focus.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
