Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for a Web Developer in Cardiff (hybrid working) – for a dynamic and innovative marketing agency. As a Web Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Working with multiple agency clients across various sectors.
• Developing quality websites to design specifications using best practice methods, that are mobile adaptive and functional across all modern web browsers in line with client specifications.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to implement features and enhance functionalities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to operations and activities.
• Ensure the smooth running of websites, including security updates and ongoing performance improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience within a Web Developer role (at least 3 years’ experience).
• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify.
• Proficiency in using Windows PC and Apple Products.
• Skilled in utilizing Office 365.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• A desire to learn, develop, and achieve professional success.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Package & Benefits

Salary of around £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on depth of experience)

Hybrid working with on-site parking available if working from the office, and walking distance from Cardiff City Centre for public transport links.

Equipment provided by employer includes an Apple MacBook Air (new) and monitors for home/office.

Benefits package includes private medical insurance, 5% matched pension, holidays, and a bonus system for new clients brought on.
