Job Description
Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level in the world of digital animation? ITG is on the hunt for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our Creative Services team. You will work closely with the creative team, video producers, and other key stakeholders to create and adapt high-quality static and motion content that adheres to strong branding guidelines for a multitude of clients.
Responsibilities
- Creating striking static and motion graphics tailored for various digital media platforms from key visual creative.
- Leveraging software like Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Indesign to adapt engaging motion graphics and film for various platforms and outputs.
- Learning and utilising in-house automation technology, including collaborating with developers to adapt and grow our software.
- Enhancing the impact and viewer engagement of motion graphics by integrating typography, visual effects, and sound design elements.
- Customizing and optimizing motion graphics across different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure flawless playback on all devices and platforms.
- Exercising strong aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail, producing high-quality motion graphics that meet client standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Handling multiple projects at once, adhering to schedules, and delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.
- Working closely with creative directors and project managers to understand project objectives, gather input, and make revisions to capture the intended creative vision.
- Collaborating with the wider creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and digital animators, to produce a large array of campaign and marketing assets.
- Keeping up with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills, adopt new techniques, and push the boundaries of motion graphics design.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing work, including knowledge of Artworking and Design.
- Strong technical skills working with Adobe’s suite of software including After Effects and Indesign, with a strong appetite to learn new technology and software.
- A sharp eye for design and layout.
- Strong understanding of working with a brand and utilising Brand Guidelines.
- Highly organized with the ability to excel at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas well.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders in a team environment.
Additional Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Indesign).
- Familiarity with plugins such as Red Giant and Trapcode.
- Strong knowledge of both static and motion output formats and codecs.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn all ITG’s current technology including automation tools such as canopy and Storyteq.
- A solid design background with artworking skills is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Paid media (banners, social ads, PPC), Digital signage, Instore POS, Email and Website marketing; TV advertising knowledge is a bonus.
- Ability to estimate time required for each job.
- Strong and solid knowledge of working with and adhering to strict brand guidelines.
