Job Description

We’re Spicy Minds, a fast-paced, mission-driven startup developing solutions to improve mental health for GenZ consumers and their families, particularly those with neurodivergence. We’re seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to craft engaging mobile app experiences and marketing websites.

What you’ll do:

• Design wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
• Translate user insights into improved retention and outcomes
• Help establish market, problem, product, and language fit
• Collaborate with the founder, product manager, and engineers

Requirements

Required:

• 5+ years of UX/UI experience
• Proficient in Jira, Figma, and Squarespace
• High emotional intelligence
• Degree in Design, UX/UI, or equivalent
• Experience experimenting with Gen AI
• Comfortable navigating uncertainty in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Right to work in UK
• DBS Background check
• At least 2 days per week in the Bristol Office with the team

Desirable:

• Lived experience with mental health challenges, neurodivergence, or close personal connection
• Experience working on a successful Gen Z app
• Conducted user research
• Understanding of user experience design for LLMs
