Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced cover page Illustrator/Designer to create compelling and visually striking cover designs for a range of publications and materials for international organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in creating cover designs that cater to diverse audiences and align with the branding and messaging requirements of international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality, visually engaging cover illustrations for publications, reports, and other materials.
• Collaborate with content creators, editors, and marketing teams to ensure designs align with the organization’s vision, objectives, and brand guidelines.
• Adapt designs to various formats (print, digital) as needed, ensuring consistency and aesthetic appeal across platforms.
• Research and incorporate global trends and cultural nuances in design to cater to an international audience.
• Revise and adjust cover designs based on feedback from stakeholders, maintaining a balance between creativity and client requirements.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cover illustration/design, particularly for international organizations or major publications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Illustration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and versatile cover designs tailored for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
