Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Designer to join our organisation as the Design Assistant. You will work directly with the Design Manager to create materials for the global marketing team. This role specializes in printed material (e.g. factsheets, flyers, brochures, event stands, etc.) while ensuring alignment with the approved visual identity framework. You will support the marketing team with design projects from start to finish while adhering to brand guidelines. This role offers significant learning opportunities and experience within a global marketing team.

Requirements

We are looking for someone talented, fast-working, and an excellent communicator.

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design
  • 8+ years or equivalent graphic design experience within a design agency
  • Extensive experience with Adobe InDesign
  • Competent with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Create artwork for various printed items that align with our visual identity
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Create print-ready PDFs suitable for sending to a printer
  • Awareness of accessibility requirements
  • Attention to detail

Additional Information

Salary: £11,160 - £14,520 (14 hours pw)

Location: Cambridge office/Hybrid, UK (1 day office based)

Contract: Part-time (2-days a week) for 9 months fixed term to cover a secondment placement until the end of July 2025.
