SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Opportunity: We are continuing to grow our client base and our staff, so we now need another great addition to our creative team. We are looking for a senior graphic designer who will bring their passion for bringing both digital and traditional design projects to life with enthusiasm and precision. Great design is your love, and solving clients’ challenges with creativity is your passion. You’re extremely well-versed in all technical aspects of print production and digital best practices. You love being part of the new business process and you love to win. You have experience in communicating ideas and love collaborating with others.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of an associates (2-year) degree in advertising/communication design, or visual arts; a bachelor (4-year) degree is preferred.
• 4-5 years of related experience in a design or agency setting.
• Strong visual knowledge of composition, color theory, and typography.
• Expert at Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pride in your work and the work of the team.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of editing and animating in Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a huge plus.
• Pro at presentation design in Google Slides and comfortable working in Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Know our clients, know their products, know their customers, and help us contribute to making them wildly successful.
• Bring your biggest and your best every day as you develop breakthrough ad campaigns.

• Design and produce unique and standout brand logos and packaging.
• Develop designs that are on strategy and reflect the brand’s personality.

• Monitor projects through all phases of production.
• Provide multiple solutions to each assignment taking into account any/all feedback and direction.
• Assist in preparing materials necessary for client presentations.
• Ability and experience managing a team of other graphic designers and production artists.
• Develop the ability to communicate your knowledge of assigned product(s).
• Maintain computer archive files.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by our Art Directors.
• Adhere to client budgets and time constraints.

Growth Path

Increased responsibility as the Agency and its affiliates continue to grow. As a general guide, Senior Graphic Designers will be trained and developed to become Design Directors or Art Directors.
