Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to a U.S. equivalent Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Technical Architects, and Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Create/Update Data Model, Prepare Data Mapping, and Technical Design documents as per business requirements, obtaining approvals before development.
• Implement Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and IICS mappings, tasks, rules, profiling, and unit testing end-to-end, and provide ongoing support.
• Perform administrative activities like installing and configuring software, managing users, conducting system upgrades, and monitoring using tools like Informatica, Stonebranch, and Qlik Replicate.
• Analyze and work on migration of Informatica PowerCenter objects to IICS.
• Perform data profiling and collaborate with Data Stewards to identify data anomalies and design data quality rules.
• Extract data from multiple file formats and databases and load it into various target systems.
• Integrate cloud-based and on-premises applications using IICS connectors and APIs.
• Create connections and develop tasks utilizing Qlik Replicate.
• Perform code migration across environments and create, schedule, and manage jobs using Stonebranch.
• Implement SSO and establish a DR setup.
• Troubleshoot intricate issues and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

Work experience required for the position:

• At least 3+ years of ETL/Data Development experience in Informatica technology (Powercenter, IDQ, IDMC, IICS).
• Data migration experience with cloud databases using IICS (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Good working exposure in end-to-end Data warehousing solutions and cloud migration projects using Informatica.
• Understanding of IICS services and tasks.
• Hands-on experience on Server Maintenance and Access Management in Informatica Administrator.
• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres SQL/AWS Redshift) and familiarity with Linux shell scripting and/or Python.
• Good understanding of Data modeling concepts and experience with Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin or SQL Data Modeler).
• Experience in data profiling, mapping, validation, manipulation, and analysis.
• IDQ deployments & UAT/QA validations experience following SDLC process.
• Experience in job scheduling using Autosys, Control-M, Stonebranch platforms.
• Experience working within an Agile framework and familiarity with Agile development processes, e.g., JIRA.
