Job Description

We are looking for an iOS Engineer to help us build a market-leading iOS app at Aegon, located in Edinburgh. This is a permanent position that typically requires 2 days in the office per week and 3 days from home. The salary for this role ranges from £46,000 to £69,000 depending on the experience you bring. The closing date for applications is 14th November 2024.

Your responsibilities will include building, testing, and running our iOS application, collaborating with cross-functional teams, following industry-standard mobile architecture patterns, implementing a strong testing framework, owning the end-to-end development lifecycle, troubleshooting technical issues, and participating in the agile development process.

Requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience in iOS development.
• Experience implementing UI for different iOS screen sizes, with knowledge of design systems being beneficial.
• Strong knowledge and experience in using SwiftUI for modern UI development.
• Knowledge of different testing phases in iOS applications, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, and visual regression testing.
• Knowledge of iOS mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and MVP.
• Knowledge of mobile application security best practices and tools for detecting vulnerabilities (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, or GitLab (preferred but not essential).
