Job Description

Job Title: UX/UI Designer

Location: Seattle, WA Or California Hybrid (Locals)

Duration: 12 Months

As a UX/UI Designer, you will work collaboratively with product managers/owners, designers, and developers to prioritize the product team’s design needs in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will leverage user research, both qualitative and quantitative, to drive design decisions, and assemble competitive analysis and best practices to provide insights regarding consumer market trends and customer needs. Your role will include delivering user-centric visual and interaction design, taking ownership of projects, defining essential user journeys and experiences, presenting design work to business stakeholders, and working with digital agencies to ensure design quality standards and brand guidelines are met.

Requirements

Must have a LinkedIn and a Portfolio.

Established knowledge in User Experience and Interaction Design methodologies with a solid understanding of reusable patterns and Design Systems.

The ability to evaluate and distill qualitative/quantitative research and analytic data, and present results in an understandable and concise manner.

A creative thinker who can provide practical solutions to various business problems.

Strong ability to self-direct, organize, and manage multiple complex projects within business and customer constraints.

Ability to present ideas, proposals, strategy, and UI/UX concepts clearly and concisely to a large cross-functional audience.

Experience working and leading a team in a fast-paced, agile environment without compromising quality.

Ability to manage and resolve project-based and leadership-based challenges professionally and effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

A team player who can handle constructive criticism and collaborate towards common goals.

A confident storyteller focused on delivering optimal user solutions.

A driven, energetic, and passionate individual who is customer-centric.

Additional Information

In your role, you will also be responsible for maintaining availability to ensure a proper understanding of designs before, during, and after handoff, and contribute to defining functional requirements from a design perspective.
