Job Description

Scopely is looking for a 3D Animator to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. The company focuses on inspiring play and cherishes deep connections with their communities of players. As part of the Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem team, you will be empowered to work autonomously to deliver the best possible player experience.

You will produce animations for characters and 3D objects, perform integrations directly in the engine, and participate in various project development dynamics. Collaboration with the creative team will include brainstorms, storyboards, and animatics. You will also work in a cross-feedback environment and direct animation-driven advertisements.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience producing 3D animation for games for commercial purposes, with multiple released products.

• Proficiency in traditional animation concepts and 3D animation software.

• Understanding of advanced rigging techniques and expertise in creating state machines for animation.

• Knowledge of technical aspects of the engine related to animation, including compression, memory, and performance.

• Understanding of storytelling fundamentals like composition, editing, and pacing.

• Ability to work efficiently with art direction without supervision.

• Proven track record of making assertive decisions that positively impact project outcomes.

• Interest and proficiency in technically implementing all aspects of animation in a game.

• Strong communication skills and ability to provide effective technical feedback.

• Ability to switch seamlessly between animation software and engines.

• Knowledge of scripting for process automation.

• Understanding of technical aspects related to the organization and optimization of pipelines and animation tools for new projects.
