Job Description

Sprung Studios is seeking a highly motivated UX/UI Designer to join our team! The UX/UI Designer will work closely with the rest of the team to create the best possible user experience for gamers worldwide. This role involves producing wireframes and prototypes, creating ergonomic interfaces, and designing new UIs for video games from scratch.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assigned to one of many exciting game projects, from ideation to completion with support from a Senior UX/UI Designer.
  • Produce flows, wireframes, visual designs, and presentations while collaborating with animators and developers.
  • Produce high-quality, premium UI for games on all platforms.
  • Transform complex game mechanics into creative and effective UX solutions.
  • Create professional, annotated documents to showcase work.
  • Present work and investigations to clients via conference calls.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Figma and Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong visual design skills (colour, shape, layout, typography).
  • Understanding of applying textures, patterns, layer effects, and blend modes to UI assets across various game styles.
  • Able to creatively and conventionally solve UX problems.
  • Collaborative team player with confidence in client presentations.
  • Strong passion for games on all platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing, innovative, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to learn.
