Job Description
Position: Java Developer
Type: Full Time/Contract
Location: Multiple Locations
Join Synergistic IT as an Entry Level/Junior Java Software Developer. This role involves developing, modifying, and documenting code as part of a team. Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies, particularly SCRUM, is preferred. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills for conveying technical information to both technical and managerial staff.
Requirements
Experience: 0-2+ years
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field preferred
Technical Skills:
- Java and Core Java
- C/C++ programming
- Experience with Client/Server distributed software applications (a big plus)
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies (a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of Spring, REST, XML, XML Schema, Hibernate, Hadoop/HBASE/Cloud base/Accumulo, Mongo DB, and EXTJS is preferred.
Soft Skills: Willingness to learn, self-motivated, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Communication Skills: Experience communicating and presenting information to technical and managerial staff.
